Read the read the fantasy story Curious George At School and discuss the characters, setting and events in the story. .

Group 2

vocabulary words:shaped, branches,pond, beaks,deepest,break, hang, winding
Model and practice  final consonant blend words.
We will  read the informational text  Animals Building Homes discuss how photos and headings helps to give information about different kinds of animal homes. 
Review plural nouns.

Group 3-
spelling words: load, open, told, yellow, soak, shadow, foam, owner, goal, show,Bonus: tomorrow,shallow
Vocabulary:crew, tide, cling, balancing, foggy, disappears, stretch, excitement
Students will learn that vowel pairs oa and ow will stand for the long o sound.Practice long o words.
Review spelling and vocabulary words and their  meanings.

Students will learn that a historical fiction tells about things that could happen in a real time and place in the past.We will read the story POP's Bridge and discuss the importance of working together in completing a project.
Identify common and proper nouns.
