Group 1
Spelling words:wet, leg, hen,,jet,vet,Ken
high frequency words:all, my, me, does, hero, who
Student will practice to blend  words with short e 
Review the definitions of nouns and adjectives
Review action verbs
Read  the story Lucia's Neighborhood and discuss the importance of neighborhood.
Group 2
Spelling words:hunt, stand,long, stamp, pond, bring,hint,print,left,young
vocabulary words:shaped, branches,pond, beaks,deepest,break, hang, winding
Model and practice  final consonant blend words.
We will  read the informational text  Animals Building Homes discuss how photos and headings helps to give information about different kinds of animal homes. 
Identify and work on irregular plural nouns

Group 3-
spelling words:follow,glow, sold, window, coach, almost, throat, cold, most, borrow,Bonus: sailboats, toaster
Vocabulary:crew, tide, cling, balancing, foggy, disappears, stretch, excitement
Students will learn that vowel pairs oa and ow will stand for the long o sound.Practice long o words.
Review spelling and vocabulary words and their  meanings.

Students  will read the story POP's Bridge and fill in  a chart with the characters, setting and plot about the story.
We will read together The Tallest Tower and complete the venn diagram.
Identify common and proper nouns.
