Students will practice the sound spelling correspondence for vowel teams ee, and ea.Learn to use Quotation marks in sentences.We will read the informational text Schools Around The World .While we read, we look for photographs and captions that gives information about the topic.

Math:
This week we will continue to practice using the  standard algorithm for 2 digit subtraction. children will practice to look at ones place number fist and think if we have enough ones to take away from?. Students will be taught to borrow 1 ten from the number at the tens place and then subtract the ones column numbers to find the difference. Students will use the subtraction poem to to practice borrowing tens and find the difference.We will practice using cubes and work mat and work sheets.
